Is there a way to lock down the results so that the wives can't see?

 Re: GAS poll
I think I'm going to produce some tapes for husbands to play while their wives are sleeping.

"When you wake up you will want to buy your husband a new guitar...."

"One guitar is never enough..."

"It is easier to enjoy a guitar in your hands than money in a bank..."

Think it will work?

Some topics may require a little more than subliminal tapes!

Gee Fabman,

I never thought of it that way. I guess I am going to need to think twice if anyone ever tells me that!

 I don't have a car yet!!!!
Yeah I'm a high school senior and I worked construction all summer. Made about $3200 and spent all of it on gear. The sad part is that I made that much last summer and spent all of it on gear as well. Sooner or later my parents aren't gonna let me drive their cars anymore. I think I need group therapy, i.e. GA-Gearheads Anonymous

Just wait til I turn 18 and get a credit card

 GAS poll
At first I was like meh 100-500. But then I figured i'd add up all my gear and divide it by 3 (how many years i've been playing). I almost fell off my seat! Easily over 800 a year just in the gear that I could think of off the top of my head. And I don't even have any expensive amps either. I might even be over 1k a year with cables, strings, ect but i just don't want to admit i might be in that catagory when I don't even have a real job.

Once i've got a well paying full time job (i'm in a growing partnership right now, so things might change if we grow) i'll be spending much more than just 2500 on gear. :D

Indeed it is far easier to enjoy a guitar in your hands than money in the bank, but .... never mind your definately right.... take all my money and buy materials to build... it could mean money in the bank?!?

 Re: GAS poll
I thought I spent less but my wife quickly reminded me of a few extra purchases made this year alone.

Oh well at least she supports my musical endeavors.
