Do you have a Terms-of-Use policy?
Yes we do, and you should definately read it. We want to build a supportive and useful community and our "terms-of-use" reflect this desire.

Secondly, we want you to use this site and contribute to the community. However, you have to realize that any information provided on this site is provided WITHOUT WARRANTY. This really means two things:

1) Please be smart and use common sense if you decide to implement anything based on the information from this site. It is not our fault if you mess something up (including your life) based on something you read hear at GuitarGearHeads.

2) We try really hard to monitor the kinds of posts, comments and news stories submitted to our site. If you are offended by something, it is not intentional. If we delete one of your posts, it is not personal. If we have inadvertently copied something that should not have been copied - let us know and we will remove it.

As this site evolves you will see links to our policies in the main menu and at the bottom of the page.

You can access the policy directly by clicking on the link below:

Do you have a Privacy Policy?
Absolutely. This is an important concern for us at GuitarGearHeads.com. You will see links to our policies in the main menu and at the bottom of the page. You can access the policy directly by clicking on the following link:

Note that all of our policies are subject to change; however, we will make announcements when changes do occur.
How was this site constructed?
This web site was made with XOOPS, a web portal system written in PHP. XOOPS is a free software released under the GNU/GPL license. You can access the XOOPS community by going to www.xoops.org.
What software do you use for coding, graphics, etc.?
I'm sure this will change as the site evolves, but currently we are using:

1) XOOPS CMS system, of course.
2) ULead Photoimpact 7
3) SmartFTP (awesome, free FTP client)
4) Symantec Visual Page and Frontpage.
5) OpenOffice and Microsoft Word (r).
6) PowerTAB, Audacity, and GuitarTracks 2.

If you have additional suggestions, please send them our way!
