Platinum Packages

Platinum Campaign: The platinum campaign offers our highest visibility on a complete run of the site advertising banners. We will only be selling two platinum advertising campaigns for 2006. These campaigns can be bought in 1 month, 6 month, and 12 month blocks. The larger the campaign, the better discount that will be offered. This campaign offers the following.

Explanation of Benefits

 

Reviews: Gear reviews will be written by Gary Allen or Daniel Halberg. Reprints of reviews are free, and hi-resolution and low-resolution graphic awards will be made available for any gear that receives them. Guitar Gear Heads retains the gear after the review to use in future articles, and other reviews where we can use the item and link back to the original review. We aim to give your products as much exposure as possible where applicable. See “Preferred Manufacturer Status” for more review benefits for Platinum Package customers.

 

Advertorial: An advertorial is a hybrid between an advertisement and a editorial about a specific piece of gear or technology. These are generated by the manufacturer or a third party. An advertorial can be 1-2 pages long and should include pictures. Finding the balance between information and advertising is the key to a good advertorial. It should give a lot of educational information on the gear being highlighted. Let everyone know why your gear is so special, and why you think that everyone should own it. Sample settings or setups are also great, as well as who uses this gear and what they are saying about it.

 

Newsletter Mention: We will issue a newsletter at least once a month if not more in which you will receive a banner placement. We will have three levels of advertisement in our newsletters. Platinum will get the highest visibility while Gold and Silver will receive lower visibility spots respectively. These newsletter spots can include both banners and links as well as a newsletter spotlight on a specific piece of gear.

 

Press Releases: We will post any press releases that are sent to us at the schedule indicated on the package you buy. Just e-mail us copies including pictures when they are ready to go. You do not need to post as many press releases as your package indicates. The number on the package is the maximum for the package you buy.

 

Section Sponsorship: You will have the option of sponsoring a section of Guitar Gear Heads. A sponsorship will include a banner placement on all pages of the section you sponsor. At this time this is only available on the Platinum Package, but other section sponsorships will may be added to other packages in the future. We have chosen the “Gear Gallery” and the “Forums” for sponsorships since these are our highest traffic volume sections at this time.

 

*Location and banner size will be determined later. We are looking into the feasibility of adding a sponsorship banner and determining where we can set it up.

 

The Birthday Bash: This is a Guitar Gear Heads exclusive offered to the 12 month and 6 month Platinum members. Guitar Gear Heads will hold a Birthday party for you company on your anniversary date or on the date that you specify. The Birthday Bash benefits are in the process of being worked out. Here is the general idea.

• Guitar Gear Heads will host a one day birthday party for your company.
• We will use all of our advertising assets such as newsletters, other forums, and partnerships with other sites to get a good turn out of visitors on the site that day.
• We will feature all reviews we have written for your company in the featured review section.
• We will open our chat room for any representatives from your company that would like to talk with our members and answer questions. Scheduled times for this will be arranged and advertised.
• We will offer selected items at discounted prices for this one day only. Limits on the number of discounted products may be set by the manufacturer if they do wish. Guitar Gear Heads will set up a E-bay store that will feature these discounted items for one day only if the manufacturer agrees. Guitar Gear Heads has no ideas or desire to become full time dealers for your gear. We only want dealer rights for the day of the Birthday Bash.
