I found a simple loop pedal kit at General Guitar Gadgets and put it together after supper one night. I had two gigs this weekend and it worked great.

Sort of like that, Mike, but I don't need 8 loops. I may just buy a new pedal board that has the loops built in.
Thanks,

I am looking for, or would like to build, a box to switch multiple effects in and out of the signal chain. Here's what I'm after. I have recently been running two overdrive pedals together, and may want to add a third and possibly a compressor. I want to be able to leave all those pedals switched on and kick them in and out of the chain with one footswitch. GP had schematics for a bypass switcher a while back that might have worked, but it had one foot switch per effect. Anybody know of a website that might have the plans for that?
TIA,

My Godin pickups have two screws on top and one on the bottom. If yours are like that, too, then some mods are going to be necessary.

Yeah, I saw that, too. I was at a seminar with Robben Ford and someone asked what advice he would give someone considering a career in music. His answer? "Don't".

I haven't. I'm still sticking with my Keeley modded Sparkle Drive - although for $15 it might make a nice backup unit!

If that's what you like, Fab, (as if we didn't know) check out Ronnie Earl. Great dynamics, great tone, very tasty licks and great chord comping.

Welcome to the forum! I'm not sure about that particular guitar, but you might also want to look at the G&L Tribute line. I have an ASAT Bluesboy and it is a great axe.

Welcome to the forum. Does your amp pick up hum and radio stations everywhere you play, or just in one location? Your hum (also known as RFI) is usually the result of power issues from outside the amp - where you're plugging it in. Flourescent lights, computers, major appliances and other things can introduce hum to the circuit, so don't be too quick to blame your amp.
Also, who customized the amp? Was it a competent tech with a good reputation or was it someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with that? That amp should be quiet. I prefer to play through a guitar amp. I like that sound. But yes there will be a difference in the Rocktron vs. A Mesa. But try it anyway - you may like what you hear. In the final analysis, it's your ears that matter.
