the clean channel can be very nice and warm not overly clean (peavey) as long as you dont hit on the strings to hard. the distortion channel is best for classic rock sounds. It can be pushed harder but doesn't do modern distiontion sound. in 4 yrs has never broken or even needed and fuse never mind a valve. comes with twin footswitch pedel. for channel and reverb. Each channel has controls for gain , volume and reverb. A lacking point is a single three channel eq with treble, mid, bass and presence.
Fx loop via the rear with level control very usefull.
